Gorillaz are back after a half decade hiatus and are bringing more friends than ever. The cameos and features on the album are diverse, eclectic and just down right special. From Snoop Dogg to Kano, and from classic Bobby Womack to the hip hop impresario Mos Def the album is tipped to be the best of their three outings by members of De La Soul who also feature on the album.
Gorillaz “like you don’t already know” are an outstanding supergroup headed up by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewett but ultimately made up a large array of contributing artists. With the debut album being produced by Dan the Automator and the sophomore effort by Dangermouse it is interesting to see who has produced the majority of their third outing. For a more detailed insight into the collaborators throughout the Gorillaz journey please see visit Gorillaz-Unofficial.
There are lots of rumors flying around the interwebz as to lots of different ideas such as Bruce Willis being in the video for the first single? whether these rumors are true or not remains to be seen.
All I can say really is COP THIS! The album will be officially available on the 8th of March in the UK and the 9th of March in the USA and elsewhere courtesy of Parlophone Records.
