Anamorphosis – Anamorphic Illusions

by Andy Ball on November 22, 2009

An Anamorphic Illusion is a type of Optical Illusion where an image can only be seen properly from a certain angle or perspective. From other angles the Anamorpic Illusion may appear distorted and look like random blocks of colour, it will only seem complete when viewed from the correct vantage point.

After the overwhelming popularity of our posts about Felice Varini’s Anamorphic Illusions and Julian Beevers’ Anamorpic Sidewalk Chalk Art, we decided to bring you more examples of this interesting and eye catching art form.
