Future laptop designs are something that are often speculated about on the Internet. Laptop designs have come a long way over the past decade and advancements in technology mean hardware is constantly getting better, faster and more reliable. Netbooks have become popular and there isn’t much smaller that a laptop computer could get whilst retaining usability.
So what will future laptops look like? What changes in usability and design will there be to future laptops? Only time can truly answer these questions. But i think the ROLLTOP – “Future Designer Laptop” gives us an insight into what future laptop designs we could expect. This clever design thesis shows how laptops could be made flexible to roll up to be more convenient for mobile use. Also the possibility of a dual screen laptop, with the ability to type on a designated area of the screen is something we could soon see due to the advancements in touch screen and dual screen technology.

Cool man! I thought that the “roll stick” would also double as a solar panel charger so it’d be 100% green too!
