Some of you may recall the news in March about the Tron remake and the possibility of Daft Punk writing the original score. The film is still in a working title phase, and scheduled for two thousand and 10/11. Curently IMDB have it listed as “Tron Legacy“. The screenplay has been done by the guys who write “Lost”, and Jeff Bridges is back for more nerdyness of course.
Well this week it seems its a done deal, and the electronic duo geniuses behind some of the greatest electronic music of the 90′s Daft Punk. Keeping in theme with the original soundtrack composed by Wendy Carlos who was a pioneering electronic artist in the 80s, and also known for her composition of the original motion soundtrack to Stanly Kubric’s “A Clockwork Orange”.
Last week stopthenoise.fr posted the TR2n theme tune by Daft Punk, the track entitled “Legacy” has also been posted a few other places since. Click the video below to hear the music.
